Biomechanical Movement Assessments & Sports Physicals, Sunday January 23rd
For agility competitiors, many commonly accepted canine 'faults' including
missed jumps, popping weave poles, and blowing turns may be caused from muscle weakness and/or tightness. For
rally and obedience competitiors, inconsistent 'sits' or delayed 'attention' can be due to muscle tightness.
For conformation competitors, top line issues and decreased reach or drive may be due to weak core musculature.
A physical therapy movement assessment will help determine the root cause of the problem and then provide exercises that can
help remedy the issues.
